Job Description

Position Overview

Academic and Training Manager will provide leadership in coordinating learning activities of the centers, ensuring the appropriateness of program activities according to age and development levels of children.

Academic and Training Manager reports directly to M.D

Core duties and Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop and implement educational programs that adhere to International Standards for toddlers and pre- schoolers
  2. Provide both short- term and long- term plans for the feasibility of sustaining the services and curriculum in line with emerging dynamics
  3. Supervise, orient, instruct the training for Pre- school Educators and Child Care Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs
  4. Regularly monitor changes in local context and identify needs that can be addressed through the organization’s Early Childcare and Development program
  5. Organize program evaluation activities to meet the organization’s set services delivery standards, outcomes and vision.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Any graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferable.)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Social Welfare Training School
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ECCD related field (2 years as an Educator, 2 years as a trainer and 1 year as a manager or principle)
  • Strong knowledge of digital literacy and application of IT
  • Good commands of both English and Myanmar language
