The College operates across the Star City and the Pun Hlaing campuses and is currently seeking a French teacher to work in one or both of these campuses. In the 2020/21 academic year the students will enter Year 11 for the first time on both campuses. The College currently has candidacy status in its application to gain authorization as an IB World School, as it looks to continue its educational programme through to Year 13.

• passionate about delivering a languages curriculum and co-curricular programme in a high-performing learning environment

• experienced in teaching languages throughout the Year 7-13 age range

• successful in preparing students for external examinations, such as the (I)GCSE and IB Diploma Programme

• actively aware of the latest developments in language teaching and pedagogy

• experienced in adapting learning to ensure it is inclusive and accessible for all, especially EAL and SEN students

At least 2 years teaching experience is required, regardless of nationality. All applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE).
