- Teaching speaking and listening skills

To support the learning in the classroom
To be aware of and uphold classroom agreements and support the teacher in creating a good working environment.
To promote inclusion of all students.
To help maintain good classroom discipline by following behaviour management strategies set out by the teacher and by following the school behaviour policy.
To work with individual and small groups of students
To assist the movement of students around the school during transition times and at home time.
To escort students to other areas as necessary (toilet, medical room, etc).
To supervise students at lunch or break as scheduled on the duty roster.
