Warmth and enthusiasm welcome children and parents and settle children get the classroom ready for classes lead Introduction and Expansion Classes following lesson plans provided in the Pingu’s English Teacher’s Manual plan and set out work stations, and manage activities in Consolidation Classes and Review and Assessment Classes talk to and interact with children, keep a watchful eye on children's behavior, encourage shy children to participate and maintain discipline help children who need extra support to complete tasks identify children who need extra help or who may be experiencing physical or emotional difficulties talk to parents about children’s progress or any difficulties ensure children are playing safely complete paperwork, children's files and keep records, clear away after activities and at the end of the day supervise the Classroom Assistants in the classroom past related work experience will be an advantage.

Qualifications - 

• Be in Yangon now
• Native English speaker
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid certified teaching license/TESOL or TEFL certificates (better)
• 1 to 2 years elementary English teaching experience.

Working Hour - 

• Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Student Age - 

• Low grades (Grade 1,2,3)

Responsibilities:

• Prep for and carry out the curriculum for infant/toddler/young preschool-aged children
• Sing age-appropriate preschool and children songs in Mandarin
• Implement a Mandarin immersive learning environment
• Understanding of Mandarin culture to impart age appropriate Mandarin and Chinese cultural lessons and projects
• Possess a solid foundation in infant, toddler and young preschool developmental milestones and able to design lessons according to such milestones.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Mandarin and English REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology or related field REQUIRED
• Previous teaching and lesson planning experience in a childcare setting PREFERRED
• Familiarity with immersive language teaching environments a PLUS
• Passionate about working with children ages infant to toddler
• Ability to build rapport with children, parents and other staff members
• Responsible, motivated, self-starter
• Works well with others and following directions well
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
