Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow the work plan which will provide by Senior Leaders or Heads of School.
• Provide daily support to the class such as correction, helping out while students are learning.
• Maintain or keep proper record of the students.
• Ability to cooperate in school functions and projects.
• Ability to participate in meetings and personal development training which are provided by the school.
• Ability to communicate well with students, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to take responsibilities and ownership for the work.
• Have the ability to manage in the absence of class teacher
Education/Experience
• Hold Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in discipline.
• Excellent English Language Skills / Spoken & Writing
• Good Computer Proficiency skills especially in Microsoft Office and software programs.
Special Skills
• Ability and desire to learn new skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skill and good communication skills (both written and spoken English) is preferable.
• Patience, Kindness and willingness to help are expected as you will be working with a lots of young children on a daily basis.

The College operates across the Star City and the Pun Hlaing campuses and is currently seeking a Year 1 and Year 2 teacher to work in the Star City campus.
At Dulwich College Yangon, Year 1 and Year 2 are part of our Early Years age phase. We aim to provide a smooth transition from the Foundation Stage, incorporating elements of continuous provision, opportunities for independent inquiry and allowing for student-led learning where possible.

At DCY, children can join our Toddler setting from the age of 2. They stay in the Toddlers until they join our Foundation 1 class (they must have turned three by 1st September).

• proven track record in managing sporting facilities
• efficiently manage bookings, organize competitions and generally maximize the use of the facilities outside of school hours
• able to lead a small team of admin and coaching staff to assist in the management of the sports facilities
• have a proven track record of football coaching up to intermediate level or beyond; experience of coaching other sports, is highly advantageous, but not compulsory
• uphold high levels of health & safety and child safeguarding at all times
• possess the ability to market the facilities to potential customers
• be experienced in adapting sport to ensure it is inclusive, fun and accessible for all, whilst also having opportunities to work at elite level
• be eager to engage with the local community and provide opportunities for children who otherwise could not enjoy such facilities
At least 5 years relevant experience is required. All applicants should hold a Level 2 or higher coaching qualification in football and preferably in another sport(s) from a national governing body.
The initial contract will be for six months, with the aim of making the position full time after meeting KPIs based on the utilization of the facilities and growth of the football academy.
