DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide quality instruction in the area of English/Language Arts to students based upon a variety of instructional techniques/strategies and instructional technology to meet the needs of students
  • Educate students by planning and developing course of study consistent with the Cambridge curriculum guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records, and prepare reports on children and activities, as required by administrative regulations

  • Attend professional meetings, educational conferences and other teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence
  • Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required
  • Sponsor extracurricular activities such as clubs, student organizations and academic contests
  • Select, store, order, issue and inventory classroom equipment, materials and supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in field of assignment

Experience:

  •  Prefer teaching experience in primary level
  •  Experience with incorporating innovative, hands-on activities
  •  Experience with organizing and creating activities for small children
  •  Excellent written communication, public speaking and presentations skills

Qualifications and Experience

  • Any graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferable.)
