Responsibilities:
Prep for and carry out the curriculum for infant/toddler/young preschool-aged children
Sing age-appropriate preschool and children songs in Mandarin
Implement a Mandarin immersive learning environment
Understanding of Mandarin culture to impart age appropriate Mandarin and Chinese cultural lessons and projects
Possess a solid foundation in infant, toddler and young preschool developmental milestones and able to design lessons according to such milestones.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in Mandarin and English REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology or related field REQUIRED
Previous teaching and lesson planning experience in a childcare setting PREFERRED
Familiarity with immersive language teaching environments a PLUS
Passionate about working with children ages infant to toddler
Ability to build rapport with children, parents and other staff members
Responsible, motivated, self-starter
Works well with others and following directions well
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
